The problem with most of these designs is that they can't be folded and stored easily. This step stool can be used inside the bathroom or anywhere else you wish around the house. You can make this stool with hardwood

Tools Needed
- Miter Saw
- Table Saw

- Wood of choice: roughly 3-4 board ft

Step by step
- Cut 3/4in lumber to 1 1/8in wide: You will need roughly 153in
2. Cut two pieces 7 1/4 x 3/4 x 3/8in
3. Cut 5 pieces of the 1 1/8in material to 17in long and 4 pieces to 7 1/4in long
4. Cut a notch into all the long slats and legs 3/4in x 3/8in
5. Create a jig to drill a hole 3/8in x 3/8in from the edge. Drill on both sides of long slats and one side of all legs
6. To assemble, align leg components with long slats and use 16in washers to create a gap between the full length pieces and leg components. Secure with clamp and attach with screws after pre-drilling.
7. Glue middle spacer blocks (2 1/4 x 1 1/8 x 7/8in) in the middle of assembly.
8. Remove sharp edges with a block plane or sandpaper and finish with finish of choice.
